FAQs: Collection of goodie bags

Partners goodies, NDP2021 goodies, and the limited-edition “August was here” playing cards, NDP sports mats for

  • minimally 3-5 each department that has submitted for the 2020 and 2021 time capsules, where students submissions were not required
  • your exhibiting students who were selected last year and this year

It’s a range for 3-5 per school, some schools with exhibiting students have up to 20. We aim to distribute all the goodie bags due to storage constraints. The exact number depends on the number of schools that have signed up/not signed up. We will give out as many as we can afford per school for your department!

HOD/ teachers who

  1. Have overseen / done the activity in 2020 and/or 2021 to take in your feedback
  2. Will be overseeing/  doing the activity in 2022 so we can guide you on the online platform!

Please sign up for separate slots on the same day and same time if more than one teacher is coming 🙂

We welcome you; since you are here, we can also guide you through the secured online platform that you and your students can use for 2022 to reduce paperwork for teachers and parents.

Inform us latest by 9 am of the same day that you will be signing up for another slot so that it will help us with the planning

(i) items are packed on the day itself, so please inform us so that we do not distribute your goodie bags to the other schools for your no-show.

(ii) whether to wait for you or not to begin the briefing on the day itself.

It will take less  than 1/2 hour.

These are the activities:

• Collect goodies
• Guide you through the secured online platform that you and your students can make use of for 2022 to reduce paperwork for teachers and parents.
• Take photos of your school credit/principal quotes/student works at both 2020 and 2021 time capsules
• Quick brief on the EOY 2020 & 2021 award zoom ceremony (since we had so many queries on how the selfie is going to be coordinated!)

Undeniably, because of COVID-19, the ways we live, work, study, and even meet with our family and friends have changed. Although this fight against COVID-19 could remain uncertain, Singapore has always turned challenges into opportunities due to our people’s grit, resilience, and united spirit.

Since the beginning of 2021, more than 100,000 young, youth and members of the public have already come together in spirit to put together a gift to Singapore containing more than 56,000 stories, well-wishes, and pledges to celebrate Singapore’s 56th year of independence.

As vaccination coverage increases among Singaporeans, we look forward to the new norm of living with endemic COVID-19 this 2021. In addition to presenting 56,000 stories, pledges, and well-wishes in the form of another SG Map time capsule, where every town and estate in Singapore has contributed, this year’s gift will also feature the Our Heart for SG learning gallery. As Singapore embarks on a new chapter where COVID-19 will no longer dominate our lives, this gallery gift contains 2020 and 2021 COVID-19 stories, reflections, pledges, and well-wishes.
